“We are what we are because we have been what we have been, and what is needed for solving the problems of human life and motives is not moral estimates but more knowledge.” - Sigmund Freud

Welcome to our practice. I invite the opportunity to collaborate with you on your journey towards greater insight, self-awareness, and intentional living. Our time together will provide you with understanding and support, increased self-knowledge of the origins and nature of your concerns, and adaptive ways to address them.

A NJ licensed psychologist, I have more than 15 years’ experience in working with adults, children/adolescents, and families of diverse backgrounds. I offer a safe and empathic environment for individuals seeking to understand and manage challenges, both new and long-standing, including life transitions, relationship conflict(s), and the emotional dysregulation tied to daily stressors.

I earned a B.A. in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and subsequently received my Masters in Social Work at Rutgers University. I graduated with both my Masters and Doctorate in Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. I’ve worked in a variety of contexts in addition to private practice including academic, outpatient mental health, and hospital settings. I have extensive experience and clinical interest in working individually with adults that are dealing with depression, anxiety, gender identity, and trauma difficulties. My sessions are tailored to each individual’s unique needs and treatment goals and I employ a psychodynamic theoretical orientation, with the integration of cognitive behavioral and mindfulness practices.
